Rebecca Flynn Edwards

Rebecca moved to Shrewsbury from Uxbridge, MA three years ago and became a member of Saint Mary’s Parish. Returning to Saint Mary’s felt like a homecoming, as much of her extended family are parishioners, and residents of either Grafton or Shrewsbury.

Rebecca graduated from Worcester Academy in Worcester, MA, in 1990 and received her BA from Connecticut College and her MA in Global Marketing Communications and Advertising from Emerson College in 2000. She worked in a variety of Corporate Communications positions over the years, managing Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing Communications assignments. She has also worked as a graphic designer and writer. Rebecca became a homemaker in 2005 when her son Jack was born.

Rebecca and her husband Rick have three beautiful children, a daughter and two sons. Chandra is 17 and graduates from Worcester Academy this year. Son Jack is 4 and in preschool. The baby of the family is 2-year-old Ryan. They bring joy to every day and have inspired much of Rebecca’s spiritual journey.

Rebecca enjoys cooking, reading, skiing, and water sports. She also enjoys doing the occasional freelance project, as well as spending time with her family and visiting extended family on Cape Cod.
